Yasemin was born in London, UK and raised in Turkey alongside her brother Kaan. Yasemin and her family moved to Turkey when she was three months old. She completed her elementary school in Australia and later on earned a scholarship from the University of Queensland. Moreover, she returned to Turkey when she was eighteen and graduated from Müjdat Gezen Konservatuarı with a degree in Theater Arts.
