Manchu Vishnu Vardhan Babu is an Indian actor and producer who is known for acting in Telugu cinema and television. He was born on 23rd November 1981 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India to Mohan Babu and late Vidya Devi. His father is a Telugu actor and producer. He has one brother, Manoj and one sister, Lakshmi. He did his schooling at the Padmaseshadri Bala Bhavan School. After that, he completed his engineering degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College. During his college time, he represented the Bhaskar JNTU cricket team, and he was also the captain of the university basketball team.
Vishnu made his acting debut in the 1985 film Ragile Gundelu as a child artist.
He made his film debut in 2003 with Vishnu in the lead role. For his performance, he won the Filmfare Best Male Debut.
Suryam was his only film, which was released in 2005.
He made a cameo appearance in the 2005 film Political Rowdy.
In 2006, he was seen in two films, Astram and Game.

He has another company, ThinkSmart, which handles post-production including graphics and other elements for cinema.
He joined Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust as an educationist which was set up by his father. Under the trust many institutions are running, such as the Sree Vidyanikethan International School, Sree Vidyanikethan Degree College, Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College, Sree Vidyanikethan College of Pharmacy, Sree Vidyanikethan College of Nursing, the Sree Vidyanikethan Institute of Management and the Sree Vidyanikethan College for Post Graduation Studies. He added value-based education to the students. He expanded it and diversified it into Spring Board Academy. The academy has 75 branches. Vishnu is also the director of Spring Board International Preschools. He is also the founder and chairman of New York Academy.
Vishnu also promotes environmental awareness through his social unit Army Green.
He also set up an art foundation, the Vishnu Manchu Art Foundation (VMAF). Providing help to aspiring and talented artists to evolve the reach of their creativity is their main aim.
Vishnu married Viranica Reddy in 2009. Together they have twin daughters who were born in 2011, a son, who was born in January 2018 and another daughter, who was born in August 2019.
