Sushanth Anumolu popularly known as Sushanth is an Indian actor who is known for acting in Telugu cinema. He was born on 18th March 1987 in California, United States to Anumolu Sathya Bhushan Rao and Naga Susheela Akkineni. Akkineni Nageswara Rao is his maternal grandfather. Actor Nagarjuna is his uncle. He is the cousin of Actors Naga Chaitanya, Akkineni Akhil and Sumanth. Producer A.V. Subba Rao was his paternal grandfather. He completed his schooling at Hyderabad Public School and Gautami Junior College. He did his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA. Later, he did a short acting course at the Kreating Charakters Training school, in Mumbai.

He started his career as an Electrical Engineer at United Technologies and Schlumberger. Sushanth made his film debut with the 2008 film Kalidasu. The current was his second film, which was released in 2009. In 2013, he appeared in the film Adda. In 2015, he made a special appearance in a song for the film Dongaata. Aatadukundam Raa was his only released film in 2016. In 2018, he was seen in the film, Chi La Sow. He gained some popularity with his 2020 release Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. He was last seen in the 2021 film Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu.
