Sameera Reddy is an Indian actress who is known for acting in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films. She was born on 14th December 1980 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her mother’s name is Nakshatra, a was a microbiologist and worked with an NGO. She has two sisters, Meghna and Sushama Reddy. She completed her schooling at Bombay Scottish School, Mumbai and graduated from Sydenham College.
In 1997, she first appeared in a music video, Aur Aahista.
Sameera made her Bollywood debut with Maine Dil Tujhko Diya in 2002.
In 2003, she starred in a Hindi film, Darna Mana Hai.
Plan and Musafir were her two released films of 2004.
In 2005, she made her Telugu debut with Narasimhudu. Jai Chiranjeeva was her second released Telugu film of the year. Later that year, she made her television debut with the Hollywood drama, Casualty. In the same year, she made a cameo appearance in the Bollywood film, No Entry.
In 2006, she appeared in two Hindi films, Taxi Number 9211 and Naksha, and one Telugu film, Ashok.
In 2007, she acted in a short film, Migration. Later that year, she made her Bengali film debut with Ami, Yasin Ar Amar Madhubala. Fool & Final was her only released Hindi feature film of the year.
In 2008, she first acted in two Hindi films, One Two Three and Race. Kaalpurush was her only released Bengali film of the year. Later that year, she made her Tamil debut with Vaaranam Aayiram. For her performance in the film, she earned a nomination for Vijay Award for Best Debut Actress.
De Dana Dan was her only released Hindi film of 2009.
In 2010, she appeared in a Hindi film, Red Alert: The War Within. She also made a special appearance in the song of the Hindi film, Aakrosh. She made her Malayalam debut that year with Oru Naal Varum. Aasal was her only released Tamil film of the year.
In 2011, she starred in two Tamil films, Nadunisi Naaygal and Vedi.
In 2012, she appeared in a Hindi film, Tezz. She also made a special appearance in the song of the Hindi film, Chakravyuh. Later she made a special appearance in the Telugu film Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum. Vettai was her only released Tamil film of the year.
In 2013, she made her Kannada debut with Varadhanayaka.
