Amar Choudary popularly known as Jiiva is an Indian actor and film producer who is known for working in Tamil cinema. He was born on 4th January 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Jiiva made his film debut in 2003 with Aasai Aasaiyai. In that year, he also appeared in the film, Thithikudhe. His acting was praised in both films.
His third film was Raam in 2005. The movie was a breakthrough for him. He gained popularity with several positive reviews. His performance was critically acclaimed. He won the Best Actor award at the Cyprus International Film Festival.
