Fahadh Faasil is an Indian actor and producer who is known for working in Malayalam and Tamil films. He was born on 8th August 1982 in Alappuzha, Kerala to Fazil and Rozina. His father is a film director. He has two sisters, Ahameda and Fatima and one brother Farhaan. He did his schooling at SDV Central School, Alapuzha. He studied at Lawrence School Ooty and Choice Tripunithura. He pursued B. Com from Sanatana Dharma College, Alappuzha. Later he did M.A in philosophy from the University of Miami, Florida, US. 

Fahadh made his acting debut with the Malayalam film Kaiyethum Doorath in 2002. 

After seven-year, he appeared in his second film Kerala Cafe in 2009.

In 2010, he appeared in four films, Pramani, Cocktail, Tournament, and Best of Luck. 

In 2011, she appeared in two films, Chaappa Kurishu and Indian Rupee. For his performance in Chaappa Kurishu, he won Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actor.

In 2012, he starred in four films, Padmasree Bharat Dr Saroj Kumar, 22 Female Kottayam, Diamond Necklace, Friday. For his performance in 22 Female Kottayam and Diamond Necklace, Fahad was critically acclaimed for his performance. 

In 2013, he appeared in 12 films. He received positive reviews and critically acclaimed and got wider recognition for his performance in the films are Annayum Rasoolum, Red Wine, Amen, Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla, North 24 Kaatham, and Oru Indian Pranayakatha.

In 2014, he appeared in five films, 1 by two, God’s Own Country, Bangalore Days, Iyobinte Pusthakam, and Money Ratnam. 

Next year, he appeared in three films. 

In 2016, he appeared in two films, Monsoon Mangoes and Maheshhinte Prathikaaram. For his performance, he was highly praised and got some good critics. For Maheshhinte Prathikaaram, Fahadh gained popularity.

In 2017, Fahadh made his Tamil debut with Velaikkaran. In that year, he starred in also three films Take Off, Role Models, and Thondimuthalum Drisakshiyum. For his films, Take Off and Thondimuthalum Drisakshiyum, he received positive reviews and critical success and awards. Thondimuthalum Drisakshiyum won three National Film Awards.

In the following years, he appeared in several films, such as Carbon (2018), Super Deluxe (2019), Trance(2020), Joji (2021), Vikram (2022) etc.

He has three upcoming films, Malayankunju, Maamannan and Pushpa 2:The Rule.

He also appeared in two music videos.

Not only an actor, but Fahadh is also a producer. He produced several films, such as Iyobinte Pusthakam, Varathan, Kumbalangi Nights, Joji etc.
