Ashok Selvan is an Indian actor who is known for acting in Tamil cinema. He was born on 8th November 1989 in Chennai, Erode, Tamil Nadu, India to Panneerselvam and Malar. He did his schooling at Santhome Higher Secondary School, Chennai. Later, he completed his graduation in Visual Communication from Loyola College.
During his college life, he acted in several short films. He also directed a short film, Green, which won Best Film at the 2012 International Tamil Thoth Conference.
In 2012, Ashok made his film debut with an uncredited role in Billa 2.
In 2013, Ashok made his Tamil debut with Soodhu Kavvum. In the same year, he also acted in the film Pizza II: Villa. His performance in Pizza II was praised.
Thegidi was his only released film in 2014. His performance was praised by critics.
