Arulnithi Tamilrasu is an Indian actor who is known for acting in Tamil films. He was born on 21st July 1987 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India to M.K. Tamilarasu and Mohana. Forner Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi is his grandfather. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. K. Stalin is his uncle. Udhayanidhi Stalin and Dhayanidhi Alagiri are his cousins. Arulnithi completed his schooling at St. Michael’s Academy, Chennai. Then he pursued a degree from Loyola College. Later he completed his higher studies at Pondicherry University.
Arulnithi made his acting debut in 2010 with the Tamil film Vamsam. His acting was praised and he was nominated for Vijay Award for Best Debut Actor. In 2011, he appeared in two films, Udhayan and Mouna Guru. His performance received several positive reviews. Thagaraaru was his only released film in 2013. In 2014, he was seen in the film Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum. In 2015 he starred in two films Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum and Demonte Colony. His performance was praised by critics in Demonte Colony. In 2016 and 2017, he had two releases Aarathu Sinam and Brindhavanam. His acting was praised again in 2018 after he appeared in Iravukku Aayiram Kangal. His performance was K-13 was another promising performance from him, which was released in 2019. Kalathil Santhippom was his only released film of 2021. He was last seen in D Block, which was released in 2022.
