Vidroh (Vidrohi) is an all-new Indian Hindi-language historical Drama Tv series that was first premiered on 11 October 2021 on Star Plus. The most awaited series will bring fresh new content to the viewers. The series is been Produced by Gatha Jain under the banner of Gatha Productions. The show stars Sharad Malhotra, Hemal Dev, and Sulagna Panigrahi in the lead roles. Vidroh is a story based on the pre-independence British Era and explores the life journey of Odia freedom fighter Bakshi Jagabandhu. The show is released on 11 October 2021.
The story of the Vidroh series revolves around an armed revolution against the rule of the British East India Company way back in 1817 in Odisha. Apart from the rebellion, the story focuses on the personal life of Bakshi Jagabandhu. She married Radhamani. However, due to the latter being unable to conceive, she forcefully marries Bakshi off with Warrior-Princess Kalyani, to take the generation forward.
Popular Indian actor Jitin Gulati will be performing the male lead in this series while actress the beautiful actress Sulagna Panigrahi, who is famous for her role of Dhara in the TV program Amber Dhara will be performing one of the main in this periodic production, hence the role of a princess.
