Thomas Weston Segura is an American stand-up comedian, writer, author, actor, and podcaster who is known for working in the American film industry. He was 16th April 1979 in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States to Thomas Nadeau Segura and Rosario “Charo” Segura. His father was the First Vice President of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He has two sisters. Tom did his graduation from Saint Edward’s School, Florida. Later, he studied at Lenoir-Rhyne University, North Carolina.

Tom started his career as an intern in Kopelson Entertainment. His first paid job in the industry was as a logger, producing transcripts of reality shows such as Extreme Makeover and My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss.

In 2007, Tom made his television debut with Live at Gotham. In 2010, he appeared in the stand-up album Thrilled. In that year, he worked as a co-writer in the film, Frank Advice. He also acted in the film. In the same year, he started a podcast, Your Mom’s House. In 2011, Tom appeared in another television series Comedy Central Presents. White Girls With Cornrows was his other stand-up album in 2012. He made his directorial debut and acted in the film, 9 Inches. He also worked as a co-writer in the film in 2013. This Is Not Happening was his other television show, streamed that year.

Later, in 2014, he appeared in Netflix’s stand-up comedy special Completely Normal. In 2016, he starred in the film, The People’s Mayor. Mostly Stories was another Netflix stand-up comedy special of the year. I Need You To Kill was his only released film in 2017. In 2018, he appeared in the film, Instant Family. Disgraceful was another Netflix stand-up comedy special. Countdown was his only released film of 2019. In 2020, he acted in the film, The Opening Act. Ball Hog was his only released Netflix stand-up comedy special of the year.

Tom has performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Comedy Festival, the Global Comedy Festival in Vancouver, and the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival.

Tom released a book in 2022 titled, “I’d Like To Play Alone, Please”, a collection of humorous essays. 

Tom married Christina Pazsitzky, with whom he has two children.
