Theodore Scott Glenn is an American actor who is known for acting in American films and television shows. He was born on 26th January 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the U.S. He completed his graduation from a Pittsburgh high school. He majored in English at the College of William & Mary.
Glenn started his career with United States Marine Corps. After that, he worked as a news and sports reporter for Kenosha News. Later, he tried to become an author, but it also didn’t work out. Then he started taking acting classes.
Glenn started his acting career in theatre, and his first play was The Impossible Years in 1965. Then he appeared in several onstage plays in La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club productions. That year, he also made his television debut with The Patty Duke Show.
In 1966, he was seen in another TV series Hawk.
N.Y.P.D. was his third TV series which was released in 1967.
In the following years, he appeared in several other TV series, such as The Edge of Night (1969), The Young Lawyers (1971), Gargoyles (1972), Emergency! He made his film debut in 1970 with The Baby Maker. From 1971 to 1980, he appeared in several movies, such as Angels Hard as They Come (1971), Gargoyles (1972), Hex (1973), Nashville (1975), Fighting Mad (1976), She Came to the Valley (1979), Urban Cowboy (1980) etc.
From 1981 to 1990, he appeared in thirteen films, such as Cattle Annie and Little Britches (1981), The Challenge (1982), The Right Stuff (1983), The River (1984), Silverado (1985), Man on Fire (1987), Off Limits (1988), Miss Firecracker (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990) etc.
In 1991, he acted in the popular film The Silence of the Lambs. In that year, he also appeared in two other films, My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys and Backdraft.
The Player was his only released film in 1992.
