Lisa Rani Ray is a Canadian-Indian Actress and Model. She was born on 4 April 1972, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She has worked in several Indian and international films. She is best known for playing the role of Simran Bhargav in the film Kasoor. She started her career as a model and appeared in advertisements like Bombay Dyeing and Lakme. She made her acting debut in 1996 with the Tamil film Nethaji. In 2001, she made her Bollywood debut with the film Kasoor as Simran Bhargav. In 2009, she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, an incurable form of blood cancer. She also worked in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. Recently, she appeared as Samara Kapoor in Amazon Prime’s web series show “Four More Shots Please” in 2019.
