Gaten John “Gaten Matarazzo III” popularly known as Gaten Matarazzo is an American actor who is known for acting in American films, television and music videos. He is popularly known for his role as Dustin Henderson in the web series Stranger Things. He was born on 8th September 2002 in New London, Connecticut, the U.S. to Gaetano and Heather Matarazzo. He has two siblings. He did his schooling at Pinelands Regional High School, New Jersey. He also did vocal training at Starlight Performance Arts Center, New Jersey.
In 2011, he participated in Starpower Talent Competition Nationals, and he won the competition.
He started his career with stage shows. In 2011, he appeared in, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Godspell was his next stage show which was released in 2012. In 2013 and 2014, he was seen in another stage show, Les Miserables. In 2015, he made his television debut with The Blacklist. In 2016, Gaten made his breakthrough with his television series Stranger Things. It helped him to gain popularity and wide recognition all over the world.
