Christopher Whitelaw Pine is an American actor who is known for acting in American films and television series. He was born on 26th August 1980 in Los Angeles, California, United States to Robert Pine and Gwynne Gilford. His father is an actor and his mother is a former actress who became a psychotherapist. He has an older sister, Katherine. Hollywood actress Anne Gwynne is his maternal grandmother. Chris did his schooling at Oakwood School. He completed his graduation with B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley. He was an exchange student at the University of Leeds in England for one year. During his college time, he participated in many plays. After that, he attended the Williamstown Theatre Festival and did his further studies at the American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco.
