An English actress by profession, Anna Katherine Popplewell was born on December 16, 1988, in London, England to Court of Appeal judge Andrew Popplewell and Debra Lomas, a dermatologist. She has two siblings, Lullu Popplewell and Freddie Popplewell who are also actors. Her paternal grandfather Sir Oliver Popplewell is a former judge and her uncle is a former cricketer Nigel Popplewell.
Talking about her education, she did her schooling at the North London Collegiate School where she remained as Head Girl. Later, she got admitted to Oxford University for studying English Language and then to Magdalen College for studying Literature.
Speaking about her career, she began acting at the age of six when she took classes at the Allsorts Drama School.
