Aldis Alexander Basil Hodge is an American actor who is known for acting in American films and television series. He was born on 20th September 1986 in Onslow County, North Carolina, the United States to Aldis Basil Hodge and Yolette Evangeline Richardson. His parents served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He has an elder brother, Edwin Hodge. During his childhood, he played both the clarinet and the violin. He completed his education at Art Center College of Design.
Aldis made his film debut in 1995 with Die Hard with a Vengeance. In 1996, he was seen in the film, Bed of Roses. In 1997, Aldis made his television debut with Between Brothers. In 1998, he appeared in his second television series, NYPD Blue. Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Pacific Blue were his two released television series in 1999. In 2000, he starred in the film, Big Momma’s House. Along with it, he also acted in two television series, City of Angels and Judging Army. In 2001, he appeared in two television series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Becker.

In the following years, in 2016, he acted in the television series, Underground. In the same year he appeared in two films, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back and Hidden Figures. For his acting in Hidden Figures, he won Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture in Screen Actors Guild Awards and was also nominated for one award. The Blacklist and Black Mirror were his two released television series in 2017. From 2018 to 2022, he appeared in eight films and five television series.
