Gulmohar is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language movie. The movie is a family drama. The story of the movie is written by Rahul Chittella and Arita Mukherjee and is directed by Rahul Chittella. Manoj Bajpayee, Sharmila Tagore, Amol Palekar, Suraj Sharma, Nargis Nandal, and Tripti Sahu will be seen in the lead roles in the film. The film marks the return of veteran actress Sharmila Tagore to the silver screen after 12 long years, as she was last seen in the 2010 Bollywood film Break Ke Baad. The shooting of the movie started on 12th March 2022 and ended on 10th May 2022. The film will be released on Disney+Hotstar in August 2022, as the makers said.
The plot of the film revolves around a multi-generational Batra family, who has decided to move out of their 34-year-old house. During the relocation, they discovered insecurities, secrets, and the bond amidst the chaos, that glues them together resurfaces.
