Li Yifeng, better known by his stage name Evan Li, is a Chinese actor, model, and singer. He is one of the most famous actors who rose to fame for participating in the 2007 My Hero contest. He is one of the most popular actors, best known for his roles in the television dramas Swords of Legends (2014), The Lost Tomb (2015), Noble Aspirations (2016), and Sparrow (2016); and the film Mr. Six (2015), in which he won the Hundred Flowers Awards for Best Supporting Actor. Li Yifeng is a successful singer who made his singing debut with his album “Four Leaf Clover,” which was released on November 19th, 2007. In the same year, he released his single “The One I Love Hurts Me The Most”. Li Yifeng has won various awards for his outstanding acting performances.
Li Yifeng was born on May 4, 1987 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. His father’s name is Li Hanwen. There is no more information about his family. Li finished his primary education at Chengdu Sanshengjie Primary School, then went on to Chengdu Xuedao Street Middle School from 2000 to 2003 to finish his junior high school, and finally Chengdu Fifth Middle School from 2003 to 2006. He enrolled himself at Sichuan Normal University to complete his graduation in broadcasting and hosting.
Beginning his acting career in 2007, while pursuing his graduation, he competed in the talent show competition, My Hero, and rose to eighth place, winning the Most Popular Contestant award. In the same year, he released his first single “The One I Love Hurts Me The Most” and his first EP, Four Leaf Clover, in November 2007. Li Yifeng gained recognition after starring in the Taiwanese drama Sunny Happiness alongside Mike He and Janine Chang.
In 2012, Li starred in the television series “White Lies” and earned praise for his performance as an autistic youth. He had his breakthrough in the year 2014 with his performance in the fantasy action drama Swords of Legends, where he portrayed the protagonist Baili Tusu alongside actress Yang Mi. At the 2014 Elle Style Awards, Li became the first actor to win the Newcomer award.
In 2020, Li starred in the modern romance drama Wait in Beijing and the hit historical spy drama Fearless Whispers. As of now, he is 35 years old and is single. He admitted that he had a relationship with Lee Dahae, but the love story was not successful.
