Sonalee Benodekar is an Indian actress who is known for acting in Marathi and Hindi films. She was born on 18th May 1988 in Pune, Maharashtra, India to Manohar and Savinder Kulkarni. Her father is a retired Army doctor. She has a younger brother. She completed her schooling at Army School, Kendriya Vidyalaya 1. She completed her graduation in mass communication and journalism from Fergusson College, Pune. After that, she did her post-graduation degree in mass communication from the Indira School of Communication.
She first did a small role in a docu-drama. Later, she appeared as a Kathak Dancer in the television series Ha Khel Sanchitacha.
She made her film debut in 2006 with the Marathi film Gauri. In the same year, she acted in another Marathi film, Gadhavacha Lagna.
In 2007, she acted in her third Marathi film, Bakula Namdeo Ghotale. For her performance in the film, she received Best Actress at Zee Gaurav 2008 and also Best Actress in a debut film at the 45th Maharashtra State Film Awards for Marathi film 2008.
In 2008, she starred in two films, Chal Gaja Karu Maja and Aba Zindabad.
Hai Kai Nai Kai was her only released film of 2009.
