Harneet Kaur popularly known as Neetu Singh is an Indian actress who is known for acting in Hindi films. She was born on 8th July 1958 in New Delhi, India to the late Darshan Singh and Rajee Kaur Singh. 

She started her career as a child artist with the 1966 film Suraj. She appeared in an uncredited role. As a child artist, she appeared in several other films, such as Dus Lakh (1966), Do Kaliyaan (1968), Waris (1969), Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani(1970) etc.

In 1973, Neetu appeared in a lead role for the first time in the film Rickshawala. In that year, she also appeared in a cameo role in the film Yaadon Ki Baaraat. She had four releases in 1974, Zehreela Insaan, Shatranj Ke Mohre, Aashiana and Hawas. In 1975, she was seen in five films. Rafoo Chakkar, Deewaar and Khel Khel Mein were her notable works of the year. In 1976, she appeared in five films. Shankar Dada, Maha Chor and Kabhi Kabhie. She had ten released films in 1977. Amar Akbar Anthony, Dharam Veer, Dhongee, Aadalat, Parvarish, Priyatama and Maha Badmaash was her notable works of the year. Her performance in Amar Akbar Anthony was praised. Kasme Vaade, Heeralal Pannalal, Chakravyuha and Anjane Mein were her four released films in 1978. In 1979, she starred in eight films. Jaani Dushman and Kala Patthar were her most successful films of the year. Her performance in Kaala Patthar helped her to earn the first nomination for Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. Choron Ki Baaraat, The Burning Train, Chunaoti and Dhan Daulat were her four other released films in 1980. She acted in four films in 1981, Khoon Ka Rishta, Waqt Ki Deewar, Ek Aur Ek Gyarah and Yaarana.

Later, in 1982, she starred in three films, Raaj Mahal, Chorni and Teesri Aankh. In 1983, she appeared in two films, Ganga Meri Maa and Jaane Jaan. In 2009, she was seen in the film, Love Aaj Kal. Do Dooni Chaar was her only released film in 2010. She made her cameo appearance in the 2012 film Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Besharam was her only released film in 2013. In 2022, she was last seen in the film Jugjugg Jeeyo.

She made her television debut as a judge in the television show Dance Deewane Juniors.
