Neetu Chandra popularly known as Nitu Chandra is an Indian actress, film producer, theatre artist, classical dancer and sportsperson who is known for acting in Bollywood films. She was born in 1984 in Patna, Bihar, India. She completed her education at the Notre Dame Academy, Patna and Indraprastha College, Delhi. She has a brother Nitin Chandra.

When she was thirteen years old, she represented India in the 1997 World Taekwondo Championships in Hong Kong. She holds two Dan black belts in Taekwondo.

After that, she started modelling and appeared in several advertisements.

In 2003, Nitu made her acting debut in the Telugu film, Vishnu.

In 2005, she made her Hindi film debut with Garam Masala.

In 2006, she appeared in her second Telugu film with the Godavari.

Traffic Signal was her only released film of 2007.

In 2008, she starred in three Hindi films, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Summer 2007 and One Two Three.

In 2011, she made her Bhojpuri debut with Deswa. She also produced the film. In that year, she was seen in a Hindi film, Kucch Luv Jaisaa and a Tamil film, Yuddham Sei.

Aadhi Baghavan and Settai were her two released Tamil films of 2013. For her performance in Aadhi Baghavan, she won SIIMA Award for Best Actress in a Negative role. In the same year, Nitu made her theatre debut with a play, Umrao,

In 2014, she made her Kannada debut with Power. Later that year, she was seen in a Telugu film, Manam.

Thilagar was her only released Tamil film of 2015.

In 2016, she made her Greek film debut with Block 12. Later that year, she produced another film, Mithila Makhaan.

In 2017, she starred in three Tamil films, Vaigai Express, Singam 3 and Brahma.com. in that year, she made her television debut as a Host in the television show Rangoli.

In 2021, she made her Hollywood debut with Never Back Down: Revolt.

She was also seen in several music videos.

She has two upcoming Hindi films, Kusar Prasad Ka Bhoot and Shooter.

She is involved in the promotion of basketball in the country through her close association with the NBA. In 2018, Nitu became Community Ambassador for Patna Pirates in the pro kabaddi league.

She has her own production house named Champaran Talkies.
