Jaikishan Kakubhai Shroff popularly known as Jackie Shroff is an Indian actor and former model who is known for acting in Indian films in thirteen languages. He was born on 1st February 1957 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. His father’s name is Kakubhai Haribhai Shroff. He dropped out of school after his 11th standard. After that, he started working as an apprentice chef at Taj Hotels and as a flight attendant at Air India. But due to his lack of qualifications, he was rejected. After that, he started working as a travel agent.
In his early life, he modeled in a few advertisements including Savage perfumes.
In 1982, Jackie started his film debut with Swami Dada. In 1983, he acted in his second film, Hero. In 1984, he was seen in two films, Andar Baahar and Yudh.
