Chitrangada Singh is an Indian actress who is known for acting in Hindi cinema. She was born on 30th August 1976 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Her father’s name is Col. Niranjan Singh, an ex-Indian Army officer with a transferable job. She has a brother, Digvijay Singh Chahal. She did her schooling at Sophia Girls’ School, Meerut. She completed her graduation in Home Science (food and nutrition) from Lady Irwin College, New Delhi.
She started her career with modelling. She became a model for several brands. Then she appeared in two or three music videos.
In 2005, Chitrangada made her film debut with Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. Her acting was praised. In the same year, she acted in another film, Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow.
Sorry Bhai! was her only released film of 2008.
In 2011, she acted in two films, Yeh Saali Zindagi and Desi Boyz.
