Arbaaz Salim Abdul Rashid Khan is an Indian actor, film director and film producer who is known for working in the Hindi film industry. He was born on 4th August 1967 in Pune, Maharashtra, India to Salim Khan and Sushila Charak. His father was a screenwriter. Dancer and Bollywood actress Helen Khan is his stepmother. He has two brothers, Salman Khan and Sohail Khan and one sister, Alvira Khan and an adopted sister, Arpita Khan. He did his schooling at Scindia School, Gwalior. Actor Atul Agnihotri and Aayush Sharma are his brothers-in-law.

Arbaaz made his film debut in 1996 with Daraar. His performance was praised and he won Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role. In 1998, he appeared in two films, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya and Sham Ghansham. His performance was praised by critics in Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya and he was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. Hello Brother was his only released film in 1999. He had four releases in 2002, Maa Tujhhe Salaam, Soch, Yeh Mohabbat Hai and a special appearance in Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge. In 2003, he made his television debut with the television series Karishma – The Miracles of Destiny. In that year, he also acted in two films, Qayamat: City Under Threat and Kuch Naa Kaho.

Later, in 2004, he starred in four films, Wajahh: A Reason to Kill, Garv: Pride and Honour, Hulchul and Alibaba Aur 40 Chor. In 2005, Arbaaz made his Telugu film debut with Jai Chiranjeeva. His performance was praised and he was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Villain – Telugu. He was seen in two films in that year, Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story and a special appearance in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. He was seen in three films in 2006, Malamaal Weekly, Iqraar: By Chance and Bhagam Bhag. In 2007, Arbaaz made his Pakistani film debut with Godfather. He also appeared in five Hindi films. In 2020, he made his Malayalam debut with the film, Big Brother. He has an upcoming film, Sridevi Bungalow. He gave his voice in the film Dhruva. He made his digital debut with the 2019 web series, Poison. He is also the host of Pinch.

Arbaaz married model-actress Malaika Arora in 1998. They have a son, Arhaan Khan, born in 2002. They divorced in 2017.
